PermaSafe CLEAN, or “step-one” of our two-step PermaSafe System, is essentially the same proven product, utilizing the same active ingredients, as our top selling PermaSafe STEP 1-1 STEP Disinfectant Cleaner. However, unlike our standard STEP 1, CLEAN is specifically configured, packaged, and only available when purchased in combination with PermaSafe SHIELD, to clean, disinfect and decontaminate surfaces before SHIELD is applied, helping to ensure it achieves an effective, durable bond.
Formulated to provide maximum cleaning with minimum effort, fast acting CLEAN cuts through even the toughest ground-in dirt, grease and grime to clean beyond the surface. CLEAN quickly eliminates stubborn stains, including dried on blood, food, rust and mold, as well as urine, feces, vomit and other contaminates, leaving treated surfaces deeply clean, sanitized and residue free.

CLEAN is effective against many more, and much more difficult to kill microorganisms than the EPA requires for a Hospital Disinfectant to be classified, labeled and sold as “Broad Spectrum.” CLEAN is also “Tuberculocidal,” a designation that indicates CLEAN is effective against Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, a very difficult to eliminate pathogen, and signifies a higher level hospital disinfectant with considerably greater germicidal potency, that’s also capable of eliminating a much broader spectrum of pathogens.
CLEAN effectively eliminates up to 99.999% of harmful bacteria and viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA), Norovirus, Influenza, Mycobacterium
Tuberculosis, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), E. Coli, Salmonella, Klebsiella Pneumoniae, H1N1 (Swine Flu), Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Ebola Virus and Legionella Pneumophila.
